Required Dance Attire:


A black leotard is required for all dance classes. No jewelry is allowed in any of the dance classes.

Ballet:

Pink ballet slippers & theatrical pink tights. Hair must be tied back in a bun.

Jazz:

Black or tan slip on jazz shoes (please check with teacher before purchasing). Hair must be worn in a bun or ponytail.

Tap:

Children’s Tan Tap or Adult Black Tap shoes (please check with teacher before purchasing). Hair must be worn in a bun or ponytail.

Acrobatics:

Acrobatic shoes or barefoot. Hair must be worn in low bun or ponytail.

Class Descriptions

Salsa Dance:

Salsa is a Latin dancing style with Caribbean roots. Named 'Salsa' for it's 'saucy' style, it is a partner-based approach that is growing in popularity every day.

Classical Ballet:

It is the foundation of all forms of dance technique and the most demanding and difficult to master. Develops flexibility, grace, and poise, among many other things.

Jazz:

A fun way to move in an up tempo style. Designed to build confidence, coordination and showmanship. Pictures

Hip Hop:

Puts jazz in a new style with high intensity and flair. Pictures

Tap:

A great way to develop rhythm and synchronization. A traditional American style of performance. Pictures

Acrobatics:

Learn to tumble, gain strength, and flexibility in this fun class, which will prepare you for such things as cheerleading try-outs. Pictures

Intro to Dance:

A creative introduction to dance, with an emphasis in ballet and tap. A great building block for your child’s introduction into the world of dance and creative movement. Pictures

Combination Dance:

Focusing on Pre-Ballet, basics of Jazz, Tap and technique across the floor. A step closer to enjoying a full technique based class.

Lyrical:

The culmination of jazz and ballet. It is a unique expression of creativity, creating poetry in motion. Pictures

Turns and Technique:

Preparation and placement for turns. Learning combinations and methods for strengthening kicks and leaps. Overall improving all aspects of dance.

Musical Theatre/Voice:

Classes emphasize learning the voice techniques in combination with movement.
