Recitals

We have two recitals a year, in which all of our students are welcomed to participate.

In the month of December we offer our traditional Holiday Production. It is a wonderful time for the students to display their talent and share holiday cheer with family and friends. The students perform a number of traditional holiday songs and enjoy a fun filled performance at a local high school. The show is comprised of all students including our pre-professional group. The Holiday Production is a great way to ease the students into the June Recital.

Every year at the end of June we hold our extravagant recital at the Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL. Participating in the recital is a very special experience for your child. It allows them to demonstrate to their families and friends all that they learned throughout the year. Our June recitals feature two sections; the first is our “Variety Section” and the second is the “Ballet Section.” The Variety Section features all students. This section includes our “Introduction to Dance,” tap, hip-hop, jazz, and acrobatics classes, with students of all ages, three and up. The students have the opportunity of performing in a professional environment. We have a highly experienced stage manager, a creative lighting crew, lavish backdrops, hand made props, not to mention our award winning choreography. The second section is comprised of a themed ballet, as would be done by any professional company. Some of our ballets include Sleeping Beauty, The Four Seasons, The Dancing Princesses, Coppelia, Don Quixote, and Cinderella, to name a few. Our pre-professional students display their talents during this section, and are an inspiration to all our students.
